March 19 – 28, 2024 – Many of us dream of a world free of terrorism, war, genocide, and violence. While watching the news, we grieve the loss of innocent lives and mourn from a distance. Our global leaders have always responded to violence with more violence. Rather than deescalate conflict, these actions have further divided humans in our cultural and ideological wars.
Join educator, author, community organizer, TEDx speaker, and yogi, Hawah Kasat, for an online program focusing on the seed of nonviolence as a pathway of liberation and the end of suffering for all beings. Through discussion, reflection, and more, we will:
- Travel together through the history and applications of nonviolence.
- Examine how we invest our time, energy, money, and consciousness.
- Understand what it would mean to transition the world into a place free from war.
Buried deep within the ground is a beautiful seed that is waiting to reemerge and grow.
